By University Advancement and Communications Posted: November 12, 2021 12:00 a.m.

Living on campus eliminates the headache of having to find a place to live and worrying about transportation while giving you a cozy, furnished room that’s a short walk from your classes and all the amenities you need. Plus, if you apply before November 30, you will receive a $500 housing award and an early move-in bonus of December 15! If you’re still not convinced and need to hear more, here’s the top 10 perks of living on campus at the University of Regina.

Moving furniture can be a pain, especially in winter. Make things easy for yourself and move into a fully furnished room! From cozy, single dorms to two-storey, 7-bedroom apartments, there’s a variety of room layouts to choose from that fit your style.

2. Utilities included

There’s even cooking classes put on by the Residence Life Team!

7. Academic support

When you live on campus, you’re only a short walk away from the U of R’s gym and pool so you can break a sweat (or go for a massage) and de-stress. You can also attend Cougars and Rams games free of charge and cheer on our teams to victory!

10. Meeting people
