IT Support Centre

The IT Support Centre is your single point of contact for all issues, problems or questions related to Information Services and computing at the University of Regina.  We will ensure the concern is recorded, assigned, and addressed in a timely manner.

They provide a variety of services and assistance to students regarding accounts, logins, passwords, webmail, wireless access, public labs and printing.

  • If you are having application access issues, please check to see if there is a system outage or scheduled system maintenance at System Alerts

IT Support contact information

Contact information, hours of operation, and locations are available under the 'Contact Information' link at the top of the page.

Virus Removal

Basic typical virus removal can be completed by the IT Support Centre in ED 137. The cost for virus removal is a flat fee of, $25. This fee must be charged to a University account or student's account - sorry, we do not accept cash, or cheques.

  • Note: Some viruses/trojan horses are almost impossible to remove, and we may not be able to resovle the problem. At this time, we are not able to work on student personal computing devices beyond basic virus removal.

Hardware support

At this time, we do not provide computer technical support for student owned computers and laptops.

Grad Students

Graduate students who are working with a Faculty member may receive hardware and software support for University-owned computer equipment, only through their faculty.
